Rapid Recon Product SMS Terms and Conditions

Rapid Recon Inc. (“Rapid Recon”, “we”, or “us”) provides a SMS update service (“Product SMS Service”) as part of the notification functionality within the Rapid Recon Product (“Rapid Recon Product”) in order to provide you with updates on actions made by other users and affiliates with user profiles in your dealership system. Your use of the Product SMS Service and your "Opt In" consent constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Rapid Recon Product SMS Terms”). To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may modify these Rapid Recon Product SMS Terms at any time and your continued use of the Product SMS Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Rapid Recon's Product SMS Service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from Rapid Recon through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages will be sent from the Rapid Recon product.

Notifications types include but are not limited to: notifications of vehicle step moves, notifications about notes appended to a vehicle, and work team notifications. New notification types may be made available at a later time.

You have the right to opt out of notifications. By opting out of Rapid Recon production notifications you will not receive important notifications from your other users in your system about actions that require your attention. We recommend that should you opt out, that you discuss with the administrators of your dealership system to make alternate arrangements to get notified of any information deemed important related to your job.

We do not charge for the Product SMS Service, but you and/or your dealership as applicable are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. The frequency of the updates will be based on dealership configurations as determined by the administrators of the dealership account for the dealership that you belong to and/or are affiliated with. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You and/or your dealership as applicable, are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Product SMS Service at any time by texting the single keyword command STOP to 28225. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. For Service support or assistance, text HELP to 28225 or email support@rapidrecon.com.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Product SMS Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Product SMS Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to update your new SMS phone number with Rapid Recon by providing to the admin of the dealership system you are affiliated with or by contacting support@rapidrecon.com. Additionally, you will be asked to opt in again for the new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the SMS Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or SMS Service.

Rapid Recon Product SMS Service works independently of Rapid Recon's website and marketing uses. Opting into the Product SMS Service enables messaging only within the Rapid Recon product. You may be asked to opt in to Rapid Recon marketing uses separately for use on a separate short code number and/or telephone number. Conversely, both the Product SMS Service and Rapid Recon’s marketing uses will require that you opt out of each number independently.
